Welcome to the Writing Studio.
The Writing Studio, staffed by trained student tutors and visiting fellows from around the world, offers one-to-one consultation to help students to improve the quality of their writing in assignments.
Come as early in the writing process as you can so that you have adequate time to revise your draft. Each consultation is 30 minutes long. To use the time effectively, you are advised to upload your written work, which should be no longer than 1000 words, at least 24 hours before the appointment time. You are welcome to make a maximum of 2 successive appointments on the same day.

Policies
- If you are late for a registered appointment for 5 minutes or more, you will be considered as absent. Your session will be re-opened to walk-in students on a first-come-first-served basis, and you may need to make new appointment. Penalties will be applied for repeated absences.
- If you cannot make an appointment, we welcome you to walk in to use our service. Just notify our student helper upon your arrival and they will help you to check the availability of our tutors. However, each student can have only one walk-in consultation a day so that other students can also make use of our service.
