The English Language Self-Access Centre (ELSAC), situated at LI 4240, provides students with access to materials, resources and advice to assist in their independent learning of English. The ELSAC serves as a platform where users can share learning experience and meet people who enjoy learning English. The ELSAC has a Speaking Studio / Language Advising Room, and a spacious lounge for various language learning activities.

The resources in the ELSAC include:

• Books for practising and developing language skills, for leisure reading and exam preparation
• Dedicated terminals linked to online language resources for grammar, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, academic skills, and interview and exam preparation;
• DVDs and a range of recently released movies and documentaries;
• Newspapers and magazines;
• Readers and novels
