A number of factors appear to have an influence on creative expression. 1. Therefore / However / Even though ,this might be because of creative students choosing certain courses (e.g.,arts) (Eisenman, 1969). 4. Due to / In contrast / In addition to this self-selection effect, educational environments and approaches associated with different disciplines appear to create differences in students’ creativity (Eisenman, 1969, 1970; Johnson, 1974) but general education level tends to have a negative or curvilinear effect on creativity 5. due to / while / despite specialization and encouragement of analytical thinking, which deter creative performance(Dacey &Lennon, 1998; Simonton, 1994).
